Our sweet friend Miss Emmy came to visit for Easter weekend and we kept her busy busy!
On Saturday we went to an Egg Drop event hosted by LifePoint church...it was super crowded but we had a great time. Even though Ben was sick he was such a trooper just hanging out in his stroller people watching.
A helicopter flew overhead and dropped thousands of eggs onto the football field...Lilly kept saying "Helicopter, come back and drop more eggs"!
Those of you who know my Little Miss know that she can have a mind of her own...but she is also the most caring 3 year old I have ever met. We let her go get eggs in the 3 and under egg hunt...Uncle Steve went with her but she got zero eggs..they were gone but someone gave her some of theirs...as she was leaving there was another little girl with no eggs and Lilly decided to share hers...she makes us so very proud during moments like these, just a reminder of the gentle sweet heart that God has given her...so I'm thankful she's got some spunk...ok, a LOT of spunk...and I'm grateful that even at her young age she takes notice of others. Love you Lilly Ruth!

You brought tears to my eyes, Lilly, I’m so proud of you. That has been our prayer for you, that your God given zeal would only be matched by a heart that is so soft for people. You are a fun girl that is growing up too quickly. Know, sweet girl, that your Papa loves you very much.
