Peanut Butter

So yesterday I made Lilly some lunch, no biggie, she got in her chair, prayed, started eating and then it happened...she bit into her peanut butter sandwich and immediately said "Momma, you forgot to put peanut butter on my peanut butter sandwich", certainly not I thought...but then there on the counter sat the lonely and apparently unused peanut butter. So I made her a bread sandwich...ever had one of those? A bit bland I would imagine! "Oh dear" that was Lilly's next comment and then she just started laughing with me, or was it at me? I'll stick to with me:) Maybe I am a little tired...

We have been having so much fun with our not so little Ben. He's up to about 15 lbs. now and can smile smile smile! He even let out a laugh the other day which scared him so bad a pouty lip followed. Lilly is such a big help, she's totally on top of binky duty and getting the fresh diaper unfolded and ready to go so we can avoid getting sprayed.

Lilly starts ballet on Monday, so she's been busy breaking in her ballet shoes and dancing all over the house which she thinks requires testing out the dancing surfaces on all of the furniture as well...we are trying to explain to her that ballet is a graceful, peaceful and quiet type of dance...one where you don't need to go flailing all over the furniture and running at top speed in circle around the house:) It is too cute...can't wait 'til Monday, I may be even more excited than she is! We'll post some pics...
We had a great time with Uncle Steve and now every time Lilly hears an airplane she squeals with delight and thinks Uncle Steve is on that plane and coming back "home" to be with us...tears anyone? So needless to say she misses him. Aunt Rachel was also here for a week and was a trooper to sleep in Lilly's room for her entire stay and get up early with her every morning! Lilly now loves to pretend that Auntie Ray is sleeping in her room and playing with her! I think Auntie Ray might be Lilly's first imaginary friend:)

I continue to laugh about your sandwich. I can just see Lilly giggling away because of this. I do think Rachel was the better relative though because I could only take 1 night in Lilly’s room. I still miss the Lilly wake up though.
I love Lilly’s response to airplanes, it makes me miss her and you all lots!!
