Legacy of a Hairline

While for 9 months we had talked about what to name our child, I think I just figured we would have a girl. After all girls are great. I thought of course that there is always the possibility that we would have a boy, but when Benjamin arrived, I don't think I ever thought about having a son. I am so grateful that I do now. We are so blessed that in addition to having a wonderful daughter, we now have a son!

Now I always want our kids to look more like their momma than me, but Ben has some of my traits. For example he has some really big feet and hands. Perhaps could someday come in handy if he were to play basketball or swim. But the biggest surprise was when Anne took a picture of the top of our heads, and I realized they're identical! Sorry Ben.

Anne is doing a wonderful job as momma, as her job just doubled with no pay raise. She is so tender with Ben. She is such a gifted mother that I am so thankful that she desires to be home with our kids. God has been so gracious to us. We are so thankful to have you with us, Benjamin. Scott
