From my Couch

Is this 6 1/2 month old cute or what? These kiddos really help keep me motivated I must say. I took this picture from my couch...aka, my new home. I have taken up residence on our reclining love seat and it now has a permanent imprint of my backside...bummer! My new knee is now 10 days old and I finally feel like today was a turning point. The past number of days have been in the miserable category and I've had moments of trying to smile my way through it and moments of having a total breakdown in hubby's arms, neither of which have felt particularly great by any means:) But today my smile is real...today has brought a smile without so much pain hiding behind it and I am relieved! We started PT this week as in Physical Torture not Therapy! My PT's name is Greg and I am certain that after my first visit I noticed horns coming out of the top of his head...certainly in the realm of devil I'm quite positive. But as the week has progressed the horns have died down a bit and I'm not feeling so much like I could throw up at the thought of going to therapy, so that marks some improvement. I am gaining some strength back in my knee and the constant stabbing pain has gone down to just a constant nagging which is much more tolerable. The kids have done so amazing through all of this much of which is due to having Nanny Steve here all the time. It's nice having family here to love on our kiddos. God has been so good to provide for everything we have needed and then some. We are so grateful for friends and family who have been so faithful to call and stop by to check on us and help in any way they can...we are blessed beyond description! Hopefully I'll be back to baby blogging soon, surgery has sort of taken over blog thoughts for too long now...I'm ready to move on:)
