After we left Branson we continued our trek into Kansas and were able to make a pit stop at Grandpa Mark and Grandma Mimi's farm. Above Scott is taking a ride on Dad's Lunar Lander! It was so nice to be at the farm during the summer, we are usually there when it's cold, but to see all of the green and the flowers and the garden was wonderful!
Lilly and Auntie Sarah made some homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream for Benjamin and Grandpa Mark's birthday party! Poor Benjamin celebrated his big 2 year birthday party on the road...June 23 we were making our drive to Nashville! But it was so fun to celebrate with Grandpa who's birthday falls one week after Ben...we'll leave out how old Grandpa is:)
Great Grandma DeeDee brought a cake for the birthday boys! It was great to get some much needed time with family...and Auntie Megan was just back from England from her study abroad so we even got to catch up with her!
