Phase One for our back yard was the deck...We had dear friends who also happen to be amazing carpenter/ artists do the deck for us. They were awesome, and they let Lilly & Ben help along the way...and they let me hover over them and ask a million questions:) Ben was terrified of the tools initially but warmed up to them after a bit.
Lilly of course was hands on from the get go! I love to see this girl in her dress...drilling:) My girly tom boy!
We decided to keep the concrete that was still there and add more deck onto it then stain the concrete....
This is most of it, minus the very cool benches...more pics to come! Thanks John & Lindley....you did awesome and we love our new deck!
