About 3 weeks ago our sweet Ben got RSV and had to spend the night at the hospital...it was such a bummer...but minus the time he spent trying to get the IV going he was one happy little guy. The IV experience was horrible...it took 4 tries...and with each try came much digging around...so sad and hard to watch...Papa even had to leave the room so the nurses wouldn't have to pick him up off the floor!
Some of our dear visitors...hiding behind the masks are John & Penny who were instructed to suit up before entering the contaminated room...then there is Mr. Dennis who did not heed the warning and came down with bronchitis a week later...hmmm...makes ya wonder!
Ben was totally confined to his room due to how contagious he was...here he is trying to bust out:)
The nurses and respitory therapist told us what a perfect patient our sweet boy was...he really did amazing and we thankful that everything went so smoothly! Thanks to all of our friends who stepped up to take Lilly and help out...and thanks to our family who faithfully prayed our boy back to good health!
