My stunning Aunt Babe lives is Texas and we decided to take a day of vacation to go visit her. Aunt Babe is one of the most generous and lovely women I have ever met. She loves her family, loves to travel and she will never know how much she has impacted my life and how many ways I aspire to be just like her.
I explained to Lillian that going to visit Aunt Babe is like going to visit the Queen...she has a beautiful home, perfect manners is a delightful hostess. With that being said, Lillian had brought a manners game on the trip with us and thought that Aunt Babe would enjoy planning it!
Aunt Babe treated us to lunch and then we went to the Marble Slab, a childhood favorite of mine and after we went back to her house where she gave the kiddos a complete tour of her house, they wanted her to show them every single nook, cranny and cupboard:) and then we played the manners game!
Upon leaving she loaded us up with a cute white basket loaded with goodies and some spending money for us kids to use on the rest of our vacation!
It was Benjamin's first time to meet his Great Great Aunt Babe and he did not hesitate to snuggle right up on her lap!
Lillian and Aunt Babe I just know would spend countless hours together if we lived closer...Aunt Babe is Lillians kind of gal, girly, proper and so much fun!
This part of our trip meant so much to me, I have such fond memories of vacationing to see my Aunt Babe as a kiddo...sweet memories that have stayed with me through the years.
